Manor Bracket

Solid sapele ornamental brackets, custom-carved for a manor restoration in Perth, Ontario. Each bracket is milled and hand-finished from quarter-sawn sapele to ensure stability and reveal the wood’s rich, reddish-brown grain. Profiles reference the home’s original Italiennette detailing — turned pendants, layered cornice blocks and stepped mouldings — scaled to match existing millork. Joints are reinforced with hidden hardwood dowels and stainless-steel fasteners where required for long-term performance in seasonal climates.
